- Angela Henson is a straight As student with a loving family, and dreams of becoming a doctor. Then at age fourteen, Angela finds out that her parents are revealed to be CIA agents, suspected of treason for selling state secrets to the enemy. With her parents in prison, Angela's path takes her on a journey as an FBI agent in New York City, with a specialty for finding out when both suspects and victims are lying. However, the past still has an hold on Angela, making her suspicious of others, and closed-off to her new boyfriend Peter and younger brother, Jerry.
